This project involves the renovation of 23,024 GSF of the Demopolis Armory to provide classroom and laboratory spaces for instruction. An alternate scope includes 24,846 GSF of additional renovations and building additions. The facility will include administrative and common areas, as well as dedicated instructional spaces for nursing, welding, HVAC, industrial maintenance, and truck driving programs. Each instructional area is paired with adjoining laboratory spaces designed to support hands-on, practical training, allowing students to gain real-world experience in each discipline. The renovations and additions will modernize the facility to better accommodate a variety of technical and career-focused educational programs.
