The Center for Pain in Prattville, Alabama is a purpose-built healthcare facility designed to support advanced interventional pain management through a clear and disciplined architectural approach. Currently under construction, the project reflects JMR+H Architecture’s commitment to integrating clinical performance, spatial clarity, and patient-centered design. The building is organized around efficient adjacencies and intuitive circulation, establishing a clear separation between public, clinical, and staff zones to support streamlined workflows, privacy, and ease of navigation.

Material selection, interior scale, and daylighting are employed to create a calm, supportive environment within a highly technical program. Durable, low-maintenance finishes and integrated building systems reinforce long-term operational performance while maintaining a contemporary, restrained aesthetic. Through thoughtful planning and a measured architectural expression, the project delivers a modern healthcare facility that balances technical rigor with a humane, patient-focused experience for the River Region.
