GADSDEN, ALABAMA

In 2014, Etowah County partnered with JMR+H to design a new 911 / Emergency Management and Communications Facility. The $3.2M facility is approximately 11,940 SF and provides a multipurpose room, incident operation area, expanded Dispatch space, and an Emergency Operations Center. In addition, the facility houses the Deputy Director, Director, and Administrative Assistant offices, mapping, storage / bunk room, warming kitchens, shower capabilities, conference space, and file storage.

The building materials were selected for their durability, reinforcement, and low maintenance so as to provide the greatest life cycle possible.
