Renovations of 2275, 2276, and 2277
This project included re-roofing, modernization and exterior renovation to Buildings 2275, 2276 and 2277 residential quarters at the Ft. McClellan Army National Guard Training Center. This project also includes the upgrade/modernization of the fire alarm systems (new) for these three buildings. The current buildings were built Circa 1952 and each has approximately 23,768 total square feet on three floors. They are structural reinforced concrete frame structures with masonry infill. Upgrade & Renovations included: New Sloped Standing Seam Metal Roofing System on the existing flat roof, including including trim, gutters, downspouts, etc.; insulated composite metal panel installation at the fascias; all exterior concrete masonry units, concrete columns, concrete beams, concrete walls and concrete canopies received new elastomeric flex coating; new sliding roof hatches; painting; cleaning; prepping; new exterior aluminum signage; new aluminum canopy at entries; new exterior lighting; and replacement of the existing fire alarm system.
